There’s an 11-year-old kid in Tallahassee named Bo Paske who just started middle school. He’s got red hair, he wears glasses, and he’s autistic.

He also doesn’t have many friends, he mostly sits alone at lunch, and his mom says he doesn’t get invited to birthday parties much.

But a bunch of football players from Florida State were at his school on Tuesday. And a wide receiver named Travis Rudolph saw him eating by himself. So he walked up and asked if HE could sit with him. And a photo of them eating lunch together is going viral.

Someone at the school sent it to Bo’s mom, who posted it on Facebook. She says she worries about him every day, because she knows no one wants to sit with him. So as soon as she saw it, she started crying.

Meanwhile, Travis says he didn’t even know Bo was autistic. He just didn’t like seeing ANY kid sit by himself. But they ended up having a great conversation. Bo’s mom says it’s the kind of thing that seems small, but can have a huge impact on a kid.

Travis also said he’d love to hang out with him again anytime. And it looks like that might actually happen soon.

Bo and his mom are planning to go see him play at a Florida State game next week. And they got invited to have dinner with the entire TEAM.
