Marilyn Manson to Release New Album ‘Say10’ Next February

By Jon Wiederhorn

The Lord of Darkness has long been an object of fascination for heavy metal musicians, Marilyn Manson notwithstanding. The confrontational rocker is even a card-carrying member of the Church of Satan. But how to communicate one’s connection with the Beast without being banned from Walmart? Manson seems to have the answer.

The self-proclaimed “God of f—” will call his upcoming 10th album Say10, reported TeamRock. The record will be the follow-up to Manson’s 2015 release The Pale Emperor.

When he wasn’t working on new music earlier this year, Manson was taking part in the upcoming film, Let Me Make You A Martyr, in which he plays a Native American hitman. “I am part Indian, he said. “I just had to observe the level of poverty and, I guess, white trash element to the story. The house where my character lives, sort of on a swamp on a reservation, looked like a combination between Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Apocalypse Now. It was pretty epic. Just seeing that, I knew where to go.”

Manson is currently on tour with Slipknot.
