Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Takes Painful Fall, Assisted Off Stage by Crew

Following the performance, Taylor reassured fans he was OK, admitting the spill was indeed painful.

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor took a painful fall on stage at the end of their show in Atlanta last night (June 29). According to witnesses, Taylor appeared to be knocked unconscious for a more a moment, or at least disoriented. Further compounding the danger, Taylor was still wearing a neck brace prescribed by his doctor following spinal surgery in June.

The accident occurred during “Spit it Out,” the band’s closing song. Taylor fell while attempting to jump up onto a riser.

Following the performance, Taylor reassured fans he was OK, admitting the spill was indeed painful.
