House of Pain’s Everlast Says Donald Trump Can’t ‘Jump Around’

By Amanda Wicks

By now, Donald Trump is no stranger to artists and bands requesting (and sometimes requiring) he stop using their music at his rallies, events or other stops on his campaign trail. From the Rolling Stones to Adele to R.E.M., the list continues to grow. Now, add House of Pain’s former frontman Everlast to it.

Apparently Trump has been using House of Pain’s “Jump Around” at recent events, and Everlast is none too happy about it.

On Instagram, Everlast posted an embarrassing photo of Trump’s hair getting caught in a breeze. He wrote in the caption to the post, “I’ve been informed @realDonaldTrump is using Jump Around at his rallies. Stop playing my song you ignorant racist piece of s— lawyers are already on it. I don’t want your money no amount you offer will get the license. I would love to meet you and smack that comb over right off your scalp you scumbag!!!”

On Twitter, Everlast’s comments started a war with Trump’s supporters.

After sharing that he wanted Trump to stop playing the song, and his lawyers would soon be following up with a cease and desist, he become overjoyed to learn the pejorative language he’d used to describe Trump had angered the Republican presidential candidate’s followers.

In the meantime, Trump can always go back to using his official–if terrifying–jam.
