Back in January, a movie called “Swiss Army Man” premiered at Sundance, starring DANIEL RADCLIFFE and PAUL DANO . . . and about half the audience WALKED OUT. Here’s why:
Dano stars as a man shipwrecked on a deserted island, who befriends a CORPSE that washes up onshore. A FARTING corpse. He’s played by Daniel Radcliffe. Dano even tries to use Radcliffe and his flatulence to get back to civilization.
The humor is intentionally absurd, but the movie is more than just 90 minutes of fart jokes. It actually won the Dramatic Directing Award at Sundance.
Anyway, the first trailer is out, so you can get a pretty good idea of what we’re dealing with here. “Swiss Army Man” opens in limited release on June 17th, then nationwide on July 1st.
