Last week the internet was ablaze with rumors that Axl Rose would fill in for Brian Johnson on a run of AC/DC’s US tour dates.
Now more evidence appears to have surfaced supporting that rumor.
AC/DC was forced to re-schedule ten shows of their U.S. tour after Johnson had “been advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss.” In the same statement, the band promised to make up the dates, likely with a guest vocalist.
Then on March 15th comedian Jim Breuer dropped a bombshell on his podcast, saying that Johnson believed the band had unceremoniously moved on without him. As the story caught on Breuer back pedaled from his initial statements, clarifying that he was not quoting Johnson, but rather venting his frustration as a huge AC/DC fan.
