Tranny documents Laura Jane Grace’s life from childhood to musical stardom, and the subsequent battles with addiction and identity that she suffered throughout that time. As the book’s title suggests, it will also focus on her transition from Thomas Games Gabel to Laura Jane Grace, which she made official in 2012.

According to the book’s Amazon page, “Peppered throughout with Laura Jane’s never-before-published journal entries, which reach back to childhood, TRANNY is an intensely personal and revelatory look inside the sex, drugs, failed marriages, music, and soul of a punk rock icon.”

Tranny hits book stores on November 15th.
