Slipknot has announced they will headline both nights of their very own Knotfest, coming to San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, Calif., Oct. 24-26.
According to the festival’s website, Slipknot will close out Saturday and Sunday nights with different sets.
In addition to Slipknot, performers will include Danzig, Five Finger Death Punch and Volbeat. The massive venue will feature five stages, more than 20 festival attractions including zip lines, a Slipknot museum, Junk Yard Drum Circle, pillars of fire, freaks, fire-breathers, stilt-walkers and “40 hours of apocalyptic madness.”
“Knotfest is a chance for Slipknot to bring the sensory-overload of a wild European festival — and now we’re coming for you, California,” Slipknot’s Shawn “Clown” Crahan said in a release. “Playing two different sets over two nights at one location is a new experience in the history of this band. This year’s Knotfests in the U.S. and Japan are going to be on another level.”
The San Bernardino event is one of two festivals, with its sister show in Japan featuring Korn, Limp Bizkit, Lamb of God, Five Finger Death Punch and more, Oct. 15-16 at Chiba City’s Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall.
