Following a dominating five-round bout with Junior dos Santos at UFC 155, Cain Velasquez reclaimed the UFC heavyweight championship he held once before.

Entering the main event of UFC 155, many speculated the outcome of the rematch between dos Santos and Velasquez, widely due to the nature of their first fight. The two met in November of 2011, with dos Santos earning the first round knockout to become the new heavyweight champion and hand Velasquez his first professional loss. Following the bout, it was rumored that both men were injured coming into their fight.

One year later, the two met again and many wondered how different the outcome would be if both men entered uninjured. After five rounds, Velasquez proved the injury in the first meeting seriously hindered his performance. For all five rounds, the Mexican-American outworked the Brazilian, leaving him a battered mess in the end.

During the post-fight press conference, Velasquez talked about how he felt coming into the fight and what the win means to him. Hear his comments below.
