Pouty-lipped songstress, Lana Del Rey, recently titillated British audiences with a performance and radio interview on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.
Del Rey, who has allegedly been hanging out with provocative frontmen like Marilyn Manson and Axl Rose, channeled her inner Britpop rock star by performing a sexy rendition “Goodbye Kiss” by Coachella-performing band, Kasabian.
In an interview with KROQ, Lana Del Rey said that the British and European cultures treat her much differently.
“Europe is completely different than America,” said the singer. “You can have a whole different life there-which I do around the world. I mean, when I go to Paris and Milan and when I’m in London, you know, I live a really different life.”
So, why did Lana Del Rey decide to cover Kasabian on BBC Radio 1?
“I really loved it when they covered ‘Video Games’,” explained Del Rey. “I thought that was great. All of my boyfriends had loved Kasabian and I’d never listened to them. I started and I really like this song. I love this song and I love the melody, I love the way the boys sing it.”
