“Oh my god, that’s awful!” shouts Adam Sandler, standing next to Jennifer Aniston, the both of them laughing out loud during a red-carpet interview for their new movie Just Go With It. They were bowled over by the full stature of our friend Brad Blanks, who had just stood all the way up (he’d been crouching out of the way of his camera). Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal, but, well, Brad happens to be quite tall.

If this all sounds strange, it is–and it’s also hilarious.

As Brad himself explains:

“In this silly red carpet business I am actually too big. My body is big, I’m too tall, my head is massive. Sometimes I scare stars, sometimes stars don’t want to be filmed with me because I make them look short! What you are about to see is one of the things that can happen when you are this massive around Hollywood folk who are petite and slight in frame!”

See what he means in this unusual encounter. It’s not your typical red carpet interview, that’s all we can say.
