[lastfm]Phoenix[/lastfm]‘s MTV Unplugged performance is supposed to debut tonight on MTV but I couldn’t find it listed on MTV’s schedule. So here it is…
The tight-knit and intimate set includes reworked versions of their infamous hits “Lisztomania” and “1901,” as well as fan-favorites like “Armistice” and “Playground Love.”
Set against a strikingly stark, cinematic white backdrop in a New York Citystudio (the edge of Hell’s Kitchen, to be exact), Phoenix performs an inimitably grand, gripping set to a devoutly rapt audience.
