A friend of the band, Damien Starkey will fill-in on bass until a replacement is found.

Frontman Wes Scantlin had this to say: “It’s been a great 9 years of rocking the music of [lastfm]Puddle of Mudd [/lastfm] with Doug. We wish him all the best on his future endeavors.” Every time I see that in a memo it usually means someone got fired. Of course no other details were given which usually REALLY means someone got FIRED.

The band just finished up their U.S. headlining and festival tour and head out on the Carnival of Madness Tour beginning July 16th in Jacksonville, FL along with Shinedown, Sevendust, Chevelle and 10 Years.
